About Me
I’m Nadyne, an Integrative Psychotherapist and Therapeutic Counsellor, trained in multiple therapeutic approaches to support you as a unique individual. My practice is neuro-affirmative, which means I don’t believe in fitting people into boxes. Labels are for tins, not for people, and there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to wellbeing.
Working with me means you’ll receive tailored support, combining mind-body techniques to help you better understand yourself. As a fully insured, accredited member of BACP and NCIP, I work ethically and safely, with years of training and clinical practice behind me. This means I take my work with you seriously, ensuring my ongoing personal and professional development so I can provide the best possible care.
If you’re based in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crowborough, or anywhere in Kent, reach out to see if the mind-body approach is right for you.
Finding It Tricky to Find the Right Therapy for You?
People seek therapy for many reasons – from mental health issues, relationship problems, grief, and stress to simply feeling stuck. The decision to seek help is a courageous first step, but finding the right type of therapy can be overwhelming. You may have tried counselling or talk therapy before and found it didn’t work for you. Or perhaps the different therapy types and jargon feel confusing, making it hard to know where to turn.
I understand. That’s why I offer a mind-body therapy approach, which recognises how our thoughts and feelings impact our behaviours, relationships, and even physical health. Together, we’ll explore these connections and work on creating lasting change, tailored to your needs.
Therapy That’s as Unique as You Are
There is no ‘one right way’ when it comes to therapy. Some clients benefit from traditional talk therapy, while others find that practices like mindfulness, body awareness, and breathwork help them more effectively manage stress. I may incorporate a mix of techniques, from meditation to more creative methods, depending on what works best for you.
This therapy is all about you – your challenges, your growth, and what makes you feel empowered both in and out of the therapy space. Together, we will build a toolbox of strategies to support you through life’s ups and downs.
Whatever Your Goals, I’m Here to Support You
I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Therapy can be tough at times, but my goal is to create a supportive relationship where you feel safe to be yourself. I provide a space for you to take a break from the outside world, connect with your emotions, and work towards positive change.
Sessions are available both in-person and online, so you can access support in a way that works best for you.
Areas of Specialisation
Trauma to Transformation: Trauma affects each of us differently. I provide tailored therapy that focuses on healing, reclaiming your life, and finding peace in the process.
Worrier to Warrior: Anxiety doesn’t have to control your life. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies that help you manage anxiety and build confidence in your daily life.
Fatigue to Flow: Feeling stuck is common when facing depression or chronic fatigue. I offer support tailored to help you regain energy and improve your emotional wellbeing. I also specialise in managing long-term chronic health conditions.
And breathe: Breathing is a key element of emotional and physical health. Through breathing practices integrated into therapy, you’ll develop tools to enhance your wellbeing inside and outside of therapy.
Meditation, Mindfulness & Movement as Therapy: It’s difficult to feel rested and at ease when anxiety, stress, or health issues dominate your life. If you’ve struggled with meditation or mindfulness before, we’ll work with your nervous system to find the approach that works best for you – whether that involves movement, breathing, or simply talking. There’s no right or wrong way to engage in therapy, and we’ll find the best path for you.
Neurodivergence and Disordered Eating: Neurodivergent individuals often face unique challenges. I offer specialised support for the management of disordered eating and anxiety, empowering individuals towards change and a healthier relationship with themselves and food.
Testimonial
“I am very happy to share my experience with Nadyne as she has been incredibly helpful in instilling calm and peace in an otherwise chaotic life.
I was drawn to Nadyne by a desire to learn meditation practises to help manage stressful situations related to my anxiety. From the very first session I encountered a warm and compassionate attitude instantly putting me at ease. Always attentive and caring, she allowed me to open up and explore my emotions at my own pace and with genuine support. She has been delightful to work with, teaching me breathing techniques and movement-based meditation which have had such a positive impact on my day-to-day life. I have learnt so much from her, in particular the importance of the mind-body connection and how emotional regulation can be achieved through proper breathing. I recommend Nadyne to anyone who is suffering from anxiety. Her empathetic and understanding approach combined with her unique breathing and movement-based teachings have been revolutionary in how I view myself, no longer seeing myself as an anxious person but a regular person who occasionally suffers from anxious thoughts from which I can separate from.”

“I feel that I am on a journey, with you as my support and guide, to discovering my real, hidden self. It has not been easy. I have no doubt that there will continue to be difficult moments as I begin to understand and challenge myself. I don’t think I have ever done anything as worthwhile for myself, ever. I thank you for your kind and gentle guidance throughout this ongoing process.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Nadyne, and it has been a deeply healing experience. From our very first session, Nadyne demonstrated a deep understanding and genuine empathy that made me feel heard and valued. Her professional insights and compassionate approach helped me navigate through some challenging times, offering not just guidance but practical strategies for growth and healing. Thanks to Nadyne, I have gained clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. I would highly recommend Nadyne to anyone seeking support and a meaningful path toward personal well-being.”

“There is no doubt in my mind that Nadyne’s expertise is what enabled our daughter to complete her studies, get a job and then go backpacking with confidence. Our daughter was suffering with bad mental health from childhood challenges compounded by her mother having a brain operation and developing early onset dementia just as she was taking her GCSE’s. Nadyne’s sessions over a couple of years transformed our daughters ability to process, communicate and cope, and were a critical lifeline helping her to stay afloat. Nadyne enabled her to be able to complete her schooling and take her exams – and to develop a better relationship with us.”

“Thank you so much again. I felt truly listened to and completely at ease, which made it so easy to open up to you. After our conversation, I already noticed a small shift and I could finally release a tiny bit of that held emotion and the anxiety stayed away for the rest of the day. I know it’s a long process and journey, but it gave me a glimpse of what might be possible and made me feel hopeful.”
